Mamelodi Sundowns have established clear parameters for any potential departure of winger Thapelo Maseko, with Aris Limassol seeing their initial approach rebuffed, according to insiders privy to information.
As previously reported by Soccer Laduma, Aris Limassol expressed interest in the South African player, but negotiations have stalled due to the clubs' differing valuations.

Sources close to the situation have indicated that the Brazilians rejected Aris Limassol's offer, deeming it insufficient for a player of Maseko's age, potential, and quality.
"The club is open to offers for Thapelo (Maseko), but it's believed that what Aris Limassol were offering was not good enough for the team to let him go. But, if they can increase the offer, then it's believed that Sundowns are willing to let the player go to enjoy gaining more game time once again," the source told Soccer Laduma.
A second insider stated that the Chloorkop outfit is also considering loan options for the talented winger as a potential alternative to an outright sale.

"The way things are at the moment, Sundowns don't want to lose him completely unless the money is good. He still has three years remaining on his contract, and that means if he goes on loan this coming season, he will still have two years as a Sundowns player and that's why he can't go cheaply unless on loan and he comes back to reclaim his place in the team," the second insider told the Siya crew.
The 21-year-old, who impressed on the continental stage by winning the African Football League Player of the Tournament award and securing bronze with Bafana Bafana at AFCON, saw limited action last season.
Soccer Laduma contacted Sundowns for comment, but the club had not responded by the time this report was published.
