A few of Mamelodi Sundowns' loaned out players are understood to not be part of the plans of the technical team for next season and are again expected to be on the look out to find clubs.
Sundowns loaned out a few of their players and the biggest surprise of them all was Lyle Lakay, who is the reigning DStv Premiership defender of the season. Lakay is currently with Cape Town City. As things stand, there is no guarantee that Sundowns will have Lakay back, with the player understood to be open to staying with the Citizens beyond the end of this season.

Divine Lunga is spending the season on loan to Golden Arrows after Sundowns had to make room for foreign players to join the team this season. Lunga spent just one season with Sundowns before being loaned out and there is a high chance of him spending another campaign away from Chloorkop next term. Golden Arrows are open to holding onto the Zimbabwean international, as he has played an important role in ensuring that they compete for a top eight spot.
Nyiko Mobbie is expected to stay on with Sekhukhune United next season, while the future of Sammy Seabi will be decided as well. The midfielder has made 16 appearances for Sekhukhune, who are open to keeping him, the Siya crew believes.
Keletso Makgalwa was loaned out to TS Galaxy during the first half of the season, but things did not work out for him with the Rockets and was released early from the deal. The club was unhappy with his progress and decided to part ways with him. And, as reported by the Siya crew at the time, we was not going to return to Chloorkop for the second half of the season. As a result, he and Promise Mkhuma were loaned out to Motsepe Foundation Championship club All Stars and, as things stand, they are not expected to make a return.
Luvuyo Phewa is currently on loan to Cape Town Spurs and the club from the Mother City could look at keeping him if they win promotion to the topflight.
Another player who is unlikely to form part of the squad next season is striker Thabang Sibanyoni, who has previously been loaned out to Sekhukhune and University of Pretoria. Sibanyoni recently told the Siya crew that he can compete for a place at Sundowns, but it's understood that the club is unlikely to have him back as part of the senior squad next season.

Grant Margeman and Ricardo Goss are on two season long loan deals at SuperSport and Matsatsantsa are, in fact, interested in keeping them on a permanent basis.
A player who is understood to be part of the plans at Sundowns is Nigerian striker Etiosa Ighodaro, but his situation would need to be sorted out with the club's foreign quota.
