After reports linking a SuperSport United midfielder to Kaizer Chiefs, his agent talks directly to the Siya crew about the situation.
As previously reported by Soccer Laduma, former Orlando Pirates midfielder Sphesihle Ndlovu was not part of Amakhosi's initial short list as they were looking at different players.

Even after that there has been reports in other South African media that Chiefs are opening formal talks with the player.
Now Ndlovu's agent Jazzman Mahlakgane spoke to Soccer Laduma to set the record straight on the matter.
"There is nothing about Ndlovu at the moment. There is nothing happening with him right now. You know SuperSport United have just returned for their pre-season today and I can tell you there is nothing like that," Mahlakgane told Soccer Laduma.
Meanwhile, an insider familiar with SuperSport United's player strategy stated that United are believed to have exercised the one-year option on the midfielder's contract.
"I don't know anything about the interest from Kaizer Chiefs but what I can tell you is that SuperSport United are believed to have exercised the one-year option on the player. So if Chiefs want to sign him it means they will have to buy him from SuperSport United. That's the situation I know," the second source revealed.

The 28-year-old midfielder has been a regular for United in the past season where the team fought relegation successfully.
Soccer Laduma contacted SuperSport United for comment but there was no response at the time of publishing this story.
The contract situation adds an interesting dimension to the Ndlovu speculation. With SuperSport reportedly exercising their option, any potential suitors would need to negotiate a transfer fee rather than signing him as a free agent. This development, combined with his agent's firm stance that nothing is currently happening, suggests the midfielder is likely to remain at Matsatsantsa for the upcoming season unless a significant offer emerges.
It remains to be seen if Chiefs could still begin talks for Ndlovu at a later stage as there's a long way to go for the 2025-26 season to start.
