Kaizer Chiefs' upcoming opponents FC Utrecht will be rocking a new kit for the clash against the South African side.

The Amakhosi are in the middle of their Dutch pre-season tour and are chasing their first win after a 2-1 defeat to former Eredivisie side Vitesse.
Chiefs have had a busy transfer window already after making six signings in one week, including Orlando Pirates duo Paseka Mako and Thabiso Monyane, while Ethan Chislett signed from English League One side Port Vale.
Nasreddine Nabi's side is not the only team to have new features ahead of the game. FC Utrecht announced they had released a new home kit for the 2025/26 season, which will be worn for the first time against the Glamour Boys.
"FC Utrecht and Castore proudly introduce the new home kit for the 2025/2026 season," the club said in a statement.
"A classic red and white design with a powerful diagonal that incorporates the unmistakable symbol of Utrecht: the Dom Tower. A design that stands firm. Powerful, recognisable, and proud. By the city, for the city," the statement read.

The club concluded: "The home kit will be worn for the first time in preparation for the new season. A special print on the back has also been developed, featuring a relief of the Dom Tower."
