Amakhosi will have to make some changes at the back, with Angolan defender Inacio Miguel serving a one-match suspension after picking up a fourth booking in the Nedbank Cup last weekend. With Miguel out, Edmilson Dove could return to playing as a left-sided centre back and Happy Mashiane could get an opportunity to start at left back, due to Bradley Cross serving the second of his two-match suspension.
Brandon Petersen looks set to start in goal behind the back four after keeping a clean sheet in the final at Moses Mabhida Stadium. It was his first start in 2025 and the technical team is expected to reward him with another chance.
In midfield, Yusuf Maart and Thabo Cele look set to start, with Gaston Sirino playing in the number 10 role behind the front three.
