The story
Just like any other major football tournament, this year's UEFA European Championships will be hosted in state-of-the-art stadiums that rival the world's most magnificent grounds.
From past and future Champions League final venues to the homes of second division sides and of course, an Olympic Stadium, it's hard to pick just five elite German stadiums to look out for at Euro 2024.
The European continental showpiece kicks-off this evening at the Allianz Arena in Munich, when hosts Germany take on Scotland at 21:00 SA Time.
The 60 000-seater Allianz is arguably the most aesthetically pleasing stadium in Germany and is joined by four others that will host what promises to be a spectacular Euro's tournament.
Here are the Top 5 host stadiums to look out for at UEFA Euro 2024:
5. Dortmund
Borussia Dortmund's Westfalenstadion (aka Signal Iduna Park) will surely be one of the popular stadium experiences at the UEFA Euro's, as it's known for housing BVB's bouyant supporters and the unreal Yellow wall.
With a usual capacity of 81 365, Dortmund's stadium will only accommodate 62 000 fans at-a-time at the Euro's, where they'll host Four group-stage matches, one round of 16 encounter and a semi-final.
4. Frankfurt
The Waldstadion ground (aka Deutsche Bank Park), home to Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt, is set to hold 47 000 spectators at this year's Euro's instead of its usual 55 000.
With an incredible history of hosting major tournament matches, this stadium will be limited to just four group-stage games and one round of 16 match, but will host the 2027 Europa League Final.
3. Leipzig
RB Liepzig's Red Bull Arena, original name Zentralstadion, will seat 40 000 fans at the Euro's, a 7 000 drop from its usual capacity.
Liepzig will host three group-stage games and one round of 16 match, as well as the 2026 Europa Conference League final to look forward to.

2. Berlin
Berlin's Olympiastadion is home to Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin and is one of Germany's most iconic sporting venues, having hosted the 2006 FIFA World Cup final and the 2015 UEFA Champions League final.
At Euro 2024, the Olympic Stadium will be hosting the final on 14 July and will also host three group-stage matches, one round of 16, and one quarter-final, seating 70 000 fans.
1. Munich
Home to German juggernauts, FC Bayern Munich, will seat 66 000 fans per game at the European Championships and will host the opening match of the tournament between Germany and Scotland.
To celebrate LGBTQI+ Pride, the stadium will be lit up in rainbow colours on 22 and 23 Jun. Along with opening the tournament, Munich will stage four group-stage matches, one round of 16 encounter and a semi-final.
