All Out Streetwear: Chiefs' Dove Vs Pirates' Dlamini

The excitement around the Soweto Derby is reaching fever pitch as we take a look at two ballers who enjoy their classic streetwear style.

Check it out!

What's the story?

Kabelo Dlamini and Edmilson Dove are two players who enjoy staple streetwear silhouettes.

Dlamini tends to opt for matching pieces, with a lot of two-piece outfits. Dove also has a habit of rocking the flyest two-piece 'fit but switches up as much as he can.

Who pulls off their 'fits better? Let's take a closer look at their individual style.

Kabelo Dlamini vs Edmilson Dove

Both players have shown appreciation for luxury items, but their style aesthetic choices are kept simple for the most part.

Dlamini is a PUMA athlete, and his outfit choices are the best bits from the brand's streetwear collections over the years.

As mentioned, he enjoys a matching two-piece outfit, similarly to Dove who's embraced that style in the past.

These types of outfits are usually ideal for summer but Dlamini has shared a cosier 'fit, with a large PUMA coat and a special ushanka hat:

But Dove and Dlamini have range in their streetwear-centered outfits. Dove has channeled a Kanye West-inspired look with a balaclava, boots, and distressed jeans.

A dope look that exhibited the Mozambique international's willingness to explore other styles that might raise the eyebrow of the conservative dresser:

In terms footwear, Dove goes for Nike's more popular silhouettes like the Nike SB Dunk Low's and the Air Force 1's.

Although these two players play different positions and have contrasting styles of play, they do share similarities in how they approach streetwear.

They curation of their respective styles is both intentional and completely organic. They move away from that flashy footballer look that's shown by the game's richest brand-loving stars.
