The story
Bafana Bafana defender Siyabonga Ngezana has won his second consecutive league title with Romanian giants FCSB, with three games left to play.
The ex-Kaizer Chiefs centre back took to Instagram to share celebratory videos with his teammates and coaches, showcasing footage of them chanting "Championii" after rivals CFR Cluj played out a 2-2 draw with Craiova, confirming FCSB's title.
The 27-year-old, since arriving in Romania, had won the league title last season, when he was also named the Foreign Player of the Season and was included in the Team of the Season, before adding the Super Cup at the beginning of the 2024/25 campaign.
Ngezana made 22 appearances in 2024/25 so far, scoring one goal. He played a massive role defensively, helping his side to keep clean sheets, and as they say, great defences win you titles.
Here's a look at what "Sesa" shared on IG – in a weekend that also saw him celebrate Kaizer Chiefs' Nedbank Cup win over Orlando Pirates.
