Amakhosi legend Siphiwe Tshabalala recently shared more unforgettable moments from his trip to New York, where he formed part of the ex-players who attended the FIFA Players Executive Programme.
The former Bafana Bafana star reflected on the impactful experience, highlighting the insights gained and connections made during his time in the Big Apple.
Shabba shared snaps and a video of his trip to the US, where he soaked in and took learnings from former Arsenal head coach, Arsene Wenger.
The legendary midfielder showed footage of him doing his iconic 2010 World Cup celebration with fans and FIFA President Gianni Infantino, reliving his most famous moment in a Bafana Bafana shirt.
Shabba was also able to visit the Barclays Centre, home of the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets and the home ground of MLS outfit, New York Red Bulls, New Jersey’s Sports Illustrated Stadium.
His involvement in the programme, where he rubbed shoulders with former Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo and former Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva, marks another step in his post-playing journey, as he continues to explore his next chapter in the football world.
