The story
Dricus du Plessis took a break from his UFC 319 training camp to catch the Premier League Summer Series clash between Manchester United and Bournemouth
The middleweight champion is set to defend his title the same weekend the Red Devils kick off their 2025/26 league campaign against Arsenal.
Du Plessis seemingly attended the game as a guest of the club and was posted on their social media channels, holding up his personalised "Stillknocks 319" Man United Home jersey.
The 31-year-old fighter, who is preparing to face Khamzat Chimaev on 17 August, was treated to a five-goal feast as Ruben Amorim's Reds put away Andoni Iraola's Bournemouth, 4-1 on the night, courtesy of goals from Rasmus Hojlund, Amad Diallo, Patrick Dorgu and Ethan Williams.
The four-team Premier League Summer Series competition concludes in Atlanta on Sunday, with Manchester United facing Everton, while Bournemouth will hope to redeem themselves against West Ham.
