Shauwn Mkhize has been nominated in African Social Star category for the E! Entertainment People's Choice Awards.
She's sits among some of the most influential social media personalities in her category that's been previously won by Bonang Matheba and TikTok sensation Elsa Majimbo.

Shauwn Mkhize's nomination
The E! Entertainment People's Choice Awards have a staggering 40 nominations, one of the more lowkey ones is the African Social Star category.
Ma Mkhize, who's Royal AM side are currently in the top 8 of DStv Prem, has been nominated alongside actress Ama Qamata, Khanyi Mbau, Angela Summer Namubiru, Roseline Afije, Jeremiah Ogbodo, Sphokuhle N, and Judy Da Conceicao.
For the international nominees, TikTok stars, Khaby Lame, Addison Rae and Noah Beck lead a strong list of online influencers.
The awards in large will feature celebs such as Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Snoop Dogg, Lil Nas X, Zendaya, and Harry Styles in categories ranging from film, TV to music.
The award is for the most influential social media personality for that year and the Royal AM head honcho certainly isn't out of place.

With over 2.5 million followers, and plenty of posts of her showing support for her club, Ma Mkhize has managed to attract an array of audiences for her social media accounts.
Both Ma Mkhize and her son, Royal AM's chairman-player Andile Mpisane regularly post on IG. If they're not posting Royal AM content, they share travel content, flaunt their lavish items and share a glimpse into their busy lives for their avid followers.
