The story
Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana rising star Relebohile Mofokeng is set to swap his soccer boots for a chef’s apron as he joins a short-form celebrity cooking show in partnership with iconic local food brand, Lucky Star.
The talented winger will be showcasing his skills in the kitchen alongside young movers and shakers in SA pop culture, adding a flavorful twist to his growing off-field presence.
The booked and busy Mofokeng, Amapiano artists and influencers, Ch'cco and Uncle Vinny, as well as singer-songwriter Naledi Aphiwe, will be cooking with some of Lucky Star’s products with the help of celebrity chef and former MasterChef SA contestant, Luyanda Mafanya.
Titled, "In The Mix: With Mzansi’s Youth!" the show will be anchored by podcast host, Zille Weezy, who will be interviewing Mofokeng about his whirlwind of a journey as a professional footballer so far.
