The story
Although Richards Bay claimed a surprise 1-0 win over Orlando Pirates at the Orlando Stadium on Saturday evening, it was still a night of celebration for the Sea Robbers.
The club invited moms that attended the match on Saturday at Esgodini to take part in a series of games that test their football skills.
"Happy #MothersDay to all the amazing Buccaneers moms! Your support and love mean everything to your players and technical team. Wishing you a day filled with love, joy and appreciation!" wrote the club on their IG page, posting a video of moms taking penalties, doing skill challenges and walking away with prizes and Vodacom goodie bags.

Players Fortune Makaringe and Thabiso James Monyane visited SuperSport Unplugged for a Mother's Day Special, celebrating the most important women in their lives.
Makaringe's mom described him as a man that's humble, peaceful, empathetic, and a people's person, with the baller not holding back his love for mom when speaking about their relationship:
"Her and I are very close, I'm close to my entire family. So, her and I share a lot and I'm blessed to have someone like her in my life."
Monyane came through with his mom and his aunt, who are identical twins. The 24-year-old mentions that he's blessed to essentially have two moms and never takes it for granted.
"My mother is an athlete, that's where the speed comes from, my dad also played a bit of football," says Monyane, who credits his mom and his aunt for his raw athletic abilities.
"I ran the 100 metres, 200 metres, 400 metries and high jump ," recounts Monyane, with his maternal figures revealing that they both ran 100 metres back in their day.
Monyane was also tasked to dedicate some songs to his mom and aunt in celebration of Mother's Day and picked some 90's classics in "Dear Mama" by 2Pac and "A Song To Mama" by Boyz II Men.
