The story
Former Royal AM head honcho Shauwn "MaMkhize" Mkhize has made a loud and proud return to the beautiful game, taking over as Mbabane Highlanders' club president on a reported three-year deal.
MaMkhize seems to have a new lease on life in the confirmation of her running the show at Mbabane Highlanders, where she's already rebranded the outfit to her family's trademark black and gold colours and "AM" to the club's official name.
The flamboyant businesswoman took to Instagram to share a video of her addressing the Highlanders AM FC faithful on Sunday in Ezulwini, situated in the south of Mbabane.
As per Times of Eswatini, MaMkhize is said to have asserted her leadership at the unveiling, which took place at CODAC Hall in Ezulwini. MaMkhize also reportedly declared a firm stance against internal divisions and appealed for unwavering unity from the fans.
"I've always believed in building from the ground up. Yesterday, I shared my heart and my vision for Mbabane Highlanders AM FC. This is a journey of growth, purpose and unstoppable black excellence," wrote MaMkhize on Instagram.
