Itumeleng Khune sparked a selfie frenzy at the 8Bet Trade Fair Cup as fans swarmed the legendary former Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper for photos during the tournament's opening games on Saturday.
As reported by Times of Eswatini, the fanfare unfolded at the Mavuso Sports Centre in Eswatini, where supporters eagerly approached Khune, hoping to grab a selfie with Bafana Bafana's most-capped goalkeeper.
Khune was joined by his former teammate and ex-Mamelodi Sundowns star, George Lebese. The duo were in Eswatini serving as official ambassadors for the 2025 edition of the 8Bet Trade Fair Cup.
Their presence added star power to the tournament's second edition, drawing large crowds and generating plenty of buzz in Mavuso.
Both Khune and Lebese attended the opening matches, bringing visibility and excitement to the Eswatini football event.
