The story
Katlego 'Tsiki' Ntsabeleng has made a sentimental return to Mamelodi Sundowns, with the club unveiling him through a heartfelt video on their social media platforms on Saturday.
In the video, Ntsabeleng takes a stroll through a neighbourhood that appears to be in Gauteng's East Rand, sharing his aspirations for the club.
The 27-year-old joins Sundowns on loan from Major League Soccer side FC Dallas, marking a homecoming of sorts, having previously been part of the club’s youth setup.
Ntsabeleng also spent time in Kaizer Chiefs' junior ranks and played for the University of Johannesburg before earning a college scholarship in the United States, where he attended Oregon State University.
After impressing at the collegiate level, Ntsabeleng signed for FC Dallas, where he has since made 92 appearances across all competitions, contributing two goals and seven assists. His time at Dallas included 13 appearances in the current season.
Now, as he returns to familiar surroundings with renewed ambition, the midfielder looks to bring his experience and development abroad to contribute meaningfully to Sundowns' domestic and continental ambitions.
