In this feature we take a look at some of the amazing talents that have been left on some clubs benches. Some of these players would easily make it into most sides starting line ups if you think about.
Here are the first five best bench players in football:
Didier Drogba
The Chelsea legend may be 36-years-old now, but boy does he still know how to score goals. The Ivoirian returned to Stamford Bridge last year to partner up with Jose Mourinho once more instead of playing regular first team football in Turkey.
Stevan Jovetic
Stevan Jovetic made a big money move to the Citizens two season's back and hasn't really been able to make himself a regular starter. Jovetic has scored goals for his new club, but only seems to get a starting berth if or when Sergio Aguero is injured.
Frank Lampard
The former Chelsea midfielder is now playing for title rivals Manchester City, but finds himself more as an impact player these days. The ex-England international is supposed to be playing in the MLS, but has managed to extend his stay at City until the end of the season.
Isco
Known as the new Spanish wonder kid, Isco has found it tough to hold down a regular starting berth at Real Madrid. Recently he has been rotated with Gareth Bale, but usually finds himself sitting on the bench until there is an injury.
Andre Schurrle
Schurrle was probably one of Germany's best players at last year's World Cup, but has found it tough to break into the Chelsea squad this season. The reason for this is maybe because he made a little name for himself coming off the bench for Germany and picking up vital goals.
