The story
Saturday's Soweto derby provided plenty of glitz and glam, with the players using their pre-match pitch inspection as an informal runway.
Kaizer Chiefs were styled in threads from the club's collaboration with sports merchandise brand Old School, with the derby serving as a launching pad for the collection.
The Glamour Boys stepped out in one of the standout pieces from their collection with Old School, a light yellow knitted golf shirt with fitted black trousers.
The Buccaneers and adidas continued to produce the goods with another retro-inspired ensemble, seeing the players being styled in off-white and grey sweats and a pair of white adidas SL72 kicks.
Pirates' stars stepped out in a duo-coloured crewneck sweater, off-white tracksuit pants and a white and grey colourway of the SL72.
On the field of play, Orlando Pirates completed a league 'double' over Chiefs after claiming a 2-1 win at the FNB Stadium, thanks to a Relebohile Mofokeng winner, laying down a strong marker for this Saturday's Nedbank Cup final in Durban.
