The story
Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Thabo Cele and striker Tashreeq Morris showcased a more light-hearted side to them in Amakhosi’s "Get To Know Your Player" online series.
Morris, who's yet to open his goal-scoring account for the Glamour Boys in his eight appearances, was profiled late last month and revealed a host of interesting things about himself.
The former SuperSport United target man showed his humorous side by calling teammate Brandon Petersen the most famous person on his contact list.
In typical "Get To Know" fashion, Morris revealed his favorite colour, the things he can't live without and the teammates he'd take to war with him.
He also revealed his favourite Cape Town cuisine, which is a Prawn Rottie and that his favourite Kasi dish is a kota.
Cele did not take long to endear himself to the Khosi Nation since making the switch from Russia to Johannesburg in January.
The midfield general has played a prominent role in the middle of the park for the Glamour Boys in his 13 appearances, and his importance to Nasreddine Nabi's outfit becomes all the more important with two Soweto derbies coming up.
In his "Get To Know" interview, Cele revealed his undying love for a simple but hearty South African dish, phuthu and beans, a meal he cherishes from his childhood.
Having started his professional career in Europe, it comes as no surprise that Cele speaks at least four languages fluently – IsiZulu, English, Portuguese, Spanish and can pick up a bit of Russian and Polish.
