Zipho Dlangalala's side is preparing for their game against Chippa United this weekend. As confirmed by Bucs earlier this week, Mpontshane is receiving treatment for a knee injury he suffered in the MDC game against Maritzburg United last week.
The shot-stopper is expected to be out for a week, and the Buccaneers have confirmed that young Tsebo Tsotetsi is in line for a chance to play against Chippa in Mpontshane's absence.
"Goalkeeper Siyabonga Mpontshane who has played between the sticks for two of the three MDC matches has been ruled out for this encounter due to a knee injury, this opens the door for 19-year old Tsebo Tsotetsi. Tsotetsi has been an unused substitute for all three matches," Bucs confirmed on the club's official website.
