The likes of Keagan Buchanan, Siyanda Xulu and Ryan Moon all started for the AmaKhosi.
However, Chiefs were no match for the Clever Boys, as goals from Sizwe Twala, Pentjie Zulu, Knox Mutizwa and Somila Ntsundwana secured a comfortable win.

Cape Town City began their MDC journey with a 1-0 win over SuperSport United in Gugulethu on Saturday morning.
The only goal of the game arrived in the 60th minute courtesy of a strike from Jason Raad.
Bloemfontein Celtic 1-1 Golden Arrows
Defending champions Golden Arrows started their defence with a point, after playing out a 1-1 draw with Bloemfontein Celtic.
Arrows broke the deadlock after 25 minutes when the ball was bundled home, before Celtic leveled matters through Shadrack Kobedi's header at the far post.
