Kaizer Chiefs 5-0 Golden Arrows

Kaizer Chiefs ended a three-game winless run in the DStv Diski Challenge after thrashing Golden Arrows 5-0 on Sunday morning at Dobsonville Stadium.

Donay Jansen was the hero on the day after netting a hat-trick for the Soweto giants.

Mfundo Vilakazi and Bafana Zitha were also on target as as Vela Khumalo's charges ran riot and got back to winning ways.

Orlando Pirates 2-0 Richards Bay

Orlando Pirates returned to winning ways after beating Richards Bay 2-0 on Saturday afternoon at Rand Stadium.

Chances were few and far between in the first stanza but the return from the interval galvanized Pirates, as Njabulo Mndebele broke the deadlock ten minutes later with a strike from range.

With the momentum in their favour, Mpumelelo Ndaba doubled the lead for Buccaneers on 64 minutes after he pounced on a mistake at the back by the Natal Rich Boyz.

Ndaba should have made it 3-0 with seven minutes to go from the penalty spot but dragged his spot-kick wide following a handball in the box.

Cape Town City 1-1 Mamelodi Sundowns

Mamelodi Sundowns' two-game winning run was halted after a 1-1 draw against table-toppers Cape Town City on Sunday morning at Malta Park Sports Ground.

The Brazilians took an early lead but were denied victory, as City skipper Lonwabo Magugwana snatched the equaliser in the last minute.

SuperSport United clinched back-to-back matches after hammering Marumo Gallants 6-4 on Sunday morning at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.

SuperSport raced to a three-goal lead just before the half-time break as John Chuene pulled a goal back for Gallants on the stroke of half-time.

Matsatsantsa had a scare early in the second stanza after Phaswana netted a quick brace to make it 3-3 for Bahlabane Ba Ntwa.

However, United scored two quick goals themselves to re-establish a two-goal cushion just after the hour-mark.

Kwetiane brought back hope for Gallants as he reduced the deficit to 5-4 with seven minutes to go but SuperSport scored again from just from the restart to finally wrap up the three points.

Maritzburg United 1-0 Chippa United

Ten-man Maritzburg United won two games on the bounce after edging Chippa United 1-0 on Sunday morning at Harry Gwala Stadium.

Maritzburg were down to ten men with ten minutes left of the first stanza after goalkeeper Langa got a red-card.
