Wayne Sandilands Targetting Good Campaign In Africa With Sundowns

Mamelodi Sundowns shot-stopper, Wayne Sandilands says the Brazilians are desperate to make an impact in this year's CAF Champions League as they prepare to take on AC Leopards from Congo.

PSL's Top Valued Goalkeepers

The 32-year-old said that his team wants to do well in Africa and that they know it will be challenging to play against high-quality teams in the tournament.

"We know that if we want to do well in Africa we have to play and win games against tough opposition," he told the Siya crew.

"It's not easy playing in Africa but as a team we want to do well and go as far as we can."

The former Platinum Stars goalkeeper went on to say that his team are hoping to take home the CAF Champions League and that a home win will make a huge difference in Sundowns efforts to progress in the competition.

"At Sundowns we want to win every trophy we play in and that's our aim in the Champions League. We have to win tonight to ease the pressure when we go away," Sandilands explained.
