SAFA technical director, Neil Tovey, has expressed his desire to see all four PSL teams participating in the CAF competitions to advance past the preliminary stages and into the next round.

'Mokoko' spoke to Soccer Laduma in edition 959 and, highlighted that all teams competing are currently in a comfortable position to progress with the exception of Masandawana.
"To be honest, we expect our teams to progress comfortably through these preliminary rounds and it looks likely. All of our teams should qualify because of the standard of the league."
"Everyone is, of course, a bit disappointed about Mamelodi Sundowns' 1-0 loss in Zimbabwe to Chicken Inn, but at the same time we are all confident they will overturn the deficit in." he said.
The 1996 AFCON-winning captain did however add that Sundowns are more than capable of overturning the deficit, when they face the Zimbabwean team on Saturday at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
"Sundowns have the ability to do it; we all know their quality. They're the best team in the league at the present moment," Tovey said.
