The 49-year-old highlighted that the tie, which Chiefs come into with a 4-0 advantage from the first leg, will give Steve Komphela the chance to rotate his team and test different combinations on the pitch.
"If I were Steve I would use this game to explore other combinations which will help in Africa as well as in the league," he told the Siya crew.
The 1996 AFCON hero went on to say that a win will help the team to find their feet on the domestic front, but that coming away with the win must come first.
"They have to win this game so that when they progress all the players can be actively involved and help the team both in Africa as well as in the league locally. But they should win this one first," Williams concluded.
