Mamelodi Sundowns coach, Pitso Mosimane, has assured the Downs faithful that his charges will not sit back and rest on their laurels in their CAF Champions League return leg against Leopards de Dolisie.
Sundowns Humbled By Celtic At Home
Sundowns come into the tie with a 2-0 advantage against the Congolese side and can progress to the final qualifying round of the tournament without registering a win away from home. However, Mosimane has assured that he will continue to play the attacking football that his side has employed to great effect over the season, rather than take a defensive approach that will secure the result.
"We are going there for a win. We know how they play. But we won't be going there to defend, Mosimane said.
The 51-year-old also added that it's important for his team to score away from home in order to put the result beyond doubt.
"You know the best way for us to come back with a result is to play our normal attacking game and score to win the game. Their field is not very smooth so we will be more careful in our approach and our play," Mosimane concluded.
