The Brazilians are at the final stages of their preparations for the CAF Champions League game with the Zimbabwean outfit this weekend.
Having missed the Absa Premiership game with Mpumalanga Black Aces on Wednesday, Castro is said to be a doubt for Saturday's continental tie.
Should Castro miss the game at the Lucas Moripe Stadium, it will mean that Sundowns fans will have to wait a little longer to see the 'CBD' combination in action together again.
However, Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly are expected to be in the line-up for Pitso Mosimane's side, as was the case against Aces in midweek.
"The "ABC" (CBD) was one member short in the last match and Castro is still doubtful for the big match. Sundowns fans have been urged to attend in their numbers and provide the atmosphere that will spur their side to victory," Sundowns stated on the club's official website.
