The Amakhosi were handed a walkover for the second leg of their encounter with Comorian champions this weekend after Volcan failed to arrive for the game, however the decision was made after the start time for the match had been changed three times and fans were already in the stadium.
Upset supporters invaded the pitch after the decision was made to hand Chiefs a walkover – something that may see the club punished – however the club have made the choice to refund anyone who had a ticket, whether they were through the gates or not.
A statement on the club's official website read, "Tickets bought for the CAF match between Kaizer Chiefs and Volcan Club de Moroni will be refunded.
"Patrons with bought tickets who didn't attend the match and tickets stubs for those who went through the turnstiles at the Moses Mabhida Stadium for the above match will get a full refund at any Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers."
Chiefs will now face Ivorian giants, ASEC Mimosas, in the first round of the competition that will be played next month.
