Speaking to Soccer Laduma in edition 961, 'Fire' highlighted the difference in Sundowns' approach, attributing their attitude as the main change.
"It's all about the attitude. If you check how Sundowns play now compared to the Sundowns of a year or two ago, it's totally different," Masilela said.
Sundowns progressed to the next round of the CAF Champions League, following a 2-0 home victory against Chicken Inn, courtesy of a header by Wayne Arendse and a spot kick from Katlego Mashego.
"The standard is very high now. The guys are highly motivated and the technical team has changed a lot of things in our structure. With the way we are playing now, I don't see any team stopping us in Africa," the former Downs man told Soccer Laduma.
Sundowns will now face 2012 CAF Confederation Cup champions, AC Leopards in the first leg of the clash set to take place on the weekend of the 11th - 13th of March in South Africa.
