Ex Buccaneer Advises Chiefs For Champions League Second Leg

Kaizer Chiefs have been advised to plan around scoring an early goal in the second leg of their CAF Champions League game, if they are to have a chance of advancing to the next round of the prestigious competition.

The Amakhosi suffered a 1-0 loss in the first leg of their first round Champions League game with ASEC Mimosas on Saturday.

Former Orlando Pirates striker, Andries Sebola, says Steve Komphela's side can still make it to the next round, if they can score early in the second leg game in Ivory Coast.

"I think there is 50/50 chance for them to go through based on the way they played in the first leg game. They created so many chances. Unfortunately they didn't use their chances. That team (ASEC) used one of the chances they got. It was a good result for those guys, having travelled all the way from Abidjan.

"If they (Chiefs) can go to Abidjan and score early, it will help them in terms of the away goal rule. They might have a chance of taking the game into penalties. But it won't be easy," said Sebola.
