Mamelodi Sundowns have been drawn to play against Egyptian and Nigerian giants, Zamalek and Enyimba, in the last eight stage of the CAF Champions League.

Along with those two clubs, the Absa Premiership champions will also meet Algerian club ES Setif in what looks to be a tough group for the South African side.
The Brazilians received a lifeline and returned to the Champions League, following the elimination of DRC's AS Vita Club via disqualification.
It was after playing against the DRC outfit that Sundowns exited the continental competition in April. Although they had won 2-1 in their second leg game at Lucas Moripe Stadium, Downs bowed out on the away goals rule after an aggregate score of 2-2 - with AS Vita having won the first leg 1-0 in Kinshasa.
Following AS Vita's disqualification for using ineligible player Idrissa Traoré in one of their games, Downs have been have been reinstated to the prestigious competition where they joined Al Ahly (Egypt), E.S. Setifienne (Algeria), Wydad AC (Morocco), Zamalek (Egypt), Asec Mimosas (Cote d'Ivoire), Enyimba (Nigeria) and Zesco United (Zambia).
