Not Many Changes In The Current Bafana Bafana Set-Up

"If it is not broken, why fix it," Molefi Ntseki said after the announcement of the Bafana Bafana squad for the upcoming Africa Cup Of Nations qualifiers.

The South African national team head coach hardly made any changes to his previous squad which faced Mali in the Nelson Mandela Challenge earlier this month.

However, Bongani Zungu, Sifiso Hlanti and Thamsanqa Mkhize all returned to the squad after being withdrawn due to injury, while Aubrey Modiba coming in to replace Keagan Dolly.

"We have decided to keep the bulk of the team because they already understand what we want to do, and you will recall this will be my third camp with them – even though we did not play a match in the first one.

"So it was important to keep that consistency as we also don't have too much to work on things, seeing that we are playing two matches in a space of three days, which also involves significant travelling," Ntseki said.

Bafana are scheduled to take on Ghana on 14 November in Accra and Sudan on 17 November in Johannesburg.
