Bafana Bafana coach Molefi Ntseki could be forced to make two more changes to his squad following an early medical report from the team doctor.
Ntseki has already had to withdraw defender Thami Mkhize and goalkeeper Brendan Petersen after they suffered injuries, but now Dean Furman and Bongani Zungu are doubts for Sunday's Nelson Mandela Challenge friendly against Mali in Port Elizabeth.

Another injury concern is that of Percy Tau, who hobbled off before half-time during Club Brugge's 4-0 win over Gent yesterday afternoon.

"We have Bongani Zungu, who has a deep laceration on his left leg and we need to open it and make a call on whether we are keeping him in camp or not," said Bafana team doctor Thulani Ngwenya, adding that he was most concerned about Furman.
"He has had a knee problem for a week or so now. Yes, he played in the MTN8 final for SuperSport United, but he might have really pushed himself. He is a serious concern at the moment."

On Tau, who was Brugge's stand-out player in their away Uefa Champions League clash against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu a week ago, Ngwenya suggested it might have been a minor knock that forced Tau's substitution.
"His team did not flag anything, but Percy is still coming to camp and we are going to assess him and make the final call," the doctor explained.
