The Frenchman was part of Pep Guardiola's famous team that won six trophies in 2009, but only started 15 La Liga matches in the 2009/10 campaign.
In his latest column for The Sun, Henry discussed Guardiola's move to Manchester City, and argued that there is no reason for players such as Lionel Messi to follow their former coach to England unless they find themselves in a situation similar to his in 2010.
"You can't assume Lionel Messi or Neymar will be transferring from Barcelona," Henry wrote.
"And don't automatically expect Robert Lewandowski or Thomas Muller to leave Bayern Munich.
"Why would those guys leave the best teams in the world?
"The only players who leave Barcelona are those who are not regular first teamers, or guys who are approaching the end of their careers, like I was when I went to New York Red Bulls in 2010."
