Remember the Titans

As I'm watching this movie I just wanna show my appreciation for my girlfriend who I haven't seen for 134 days. I miss you so much baby and I hope I can see you soon. What I also noticed is that this movie is the idea I had when I think of the end of apartheid. How I thought we'd come together to formulate a national team that would compete on the highest level. A team that would represent each and everyone equally. Winning the AFCON was a small taste of how much we can achieve if we come together and sort out our differences in a short space of time. How we competed at the Olympics way back then also showed the world that we can develop players. This movie is a coming together of people who have lived on different sides of the track. Hell we don't have to like each other but when we step over that white chalk we have to respect each other and then fight for one another. When are we gonna see our people come together irrespective of the colour of our skin. Most recently I had a small debate on social media as to whether our players are over paid or not. My argument was that our players lacked mental development. He believed that the amount of money influenced our players performances. I believe that our differences are our greatest strength. Once we as a footballing nation realise this, we will be so great again.
