Pyramids star striker Fiston Mayele has caused a bit of stir with his latest remarks amid the links with Kaizer Chiefs.
The Democratic Republic of Congo enjoyed an historic season with Pyramids, who secured their first-ever CAF Champions League title after defeating Mamelodi Sundowns in the final.
The 30-year-old finished the recent seasons with 18 goals across all competitions, with eight of those strikes coming in the Champions League.

Mayele has been linked with a move to Chiefs for the past few months, with Soccer Laduma recently reporting that Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi was in Egypt on a scouting mission targeting Congolese striker.
The Congolese forward has now caused a bit of controversy online after posting a cryptic message on social media this week.
"Two seasons with Pyramids FC and 41 goals in all competitions. Many thanks to the entire team and to all the people who helped me in everything. Thank God," Mayele posted.
It remains to be seen if the message was a farewell to the Pyramids supporters as Mayele still has one year remaining on his current deal with the African champions.
According to WinWin, Pyramids are keen on holding on to their Congolese hitman next season despite the interest from South Africa.
"We have no intention of letting go of any key player from the team at the moment. We have no intention of letting go of Milei, especially given the management's plan to retain key players and strengthen the team with distinguished signings, given the strong competition it will face," the source told WinWin.
"There is indeed an intention to strengthen the attacking line during the current summer transfer window, but this has nothing to do with the separation from Milei."
