The Turkish international appeared on a Spanish radio station on Thursday, and was asked whether any of his Catalan colleagues have pulled any pranks on him.
Turan joked that his teammates are too afraid to taunt him, because they know he will throw shoes at them.
"They haven't done any hazing because they're scared I'll throw a shoe at them," he told Cadena Ser.
The midfielder's joke is a reference to last season while he was still an Atletico Madrid player, when he threw a boot in the direction of an assistant referee during a clash against Barcelona.
To remind you, here is a short clip of the incident last season:
Turan has played five times for Barca this season so far, and has assisted two goals.
