Kaizer Chiefs still find themselves on a back foot, despite signing eight players in the previous window period and releasing several others. It seems like the problems plaguing the club last season are not over, and, therefore, Steve Komphela should get rid of some of his players.
Hendrick 'Pule' Ekstein
The 26-year-old player has never reached his full potential, and, even if he did, there's nothing special about him. Therefore, perhaps releasing him or loaning him elsewhere could work on his favour, in terms of upping his game.
Bernard Parker
Truth be told, 'Hond' has past his best for some time, and that means he can't be more effective like before, so releasing him can be better for both, because lately he isn't seeing much game time.
George Lebese
GL17 is more like a fair-weather player. He has his days to play exceptionally and, with that in mind, Chiefs don't need those kind of players, knowing that a player of GL17's mindset is not good for the club, because of he's going to perform today, but tomorrow he's poor. That is ruining the club's reputation.
Ryan Moon
As much as Chiefs need fresh blood, Moon is perfect, but the lack of game time might rust him, and they should loan him out where he will build his confidence, just like Downs did with Percy Tau last season.
Siphelele Mthembu
Shaka has never delivered the goods for Chiefs' first team, meaning that keeping him is just a waste of money and doesn't allow for space for new players. So, it's better if they let go of him.
Having said that, which other players you think Chiefs should release?
