Paris Saint-Germain forward Lionel Messi has named his seven favourites to win this season's UEFA Champions League.

The 34-year-old has claimed the continental title four times in his glittering career to date, scoring in both finals against Manchester United in 2009 and 2011 as Barcelona went on to be victorious.
Messi, however, has not lifted the trophy since 2015, which was also the last time he played in the final of the competition.
In a recent interview, the six-time Ballon d'Or winner said his ambitions in the Champions League match PSG's, but added that they are not the only club capable of triumph this season.
"I think it is my biggest target and the club's," he told beIN SPORTS.
"They have been looking to win the Champions League and they have been very close. I think it is their main target.
"We are one of the main candidates, but not the only one. Everyone is talking about PSG because of the players, but other clubs have been working together for years and have also signed good players, like Man United, Man City, Bayern, Liverpool, Atletico and Chelsea.
"There are plenty of clubs who can win the Champions League, it is a very difficult competition and the best team doesn't always win it. You need a lot of things to win it, everything is possible and we are one of the candidates, of course."
Chelsea won the tournament last season after beating City in the final, with Bayern Munich winning it at the end of the 2019/20 campaign.
