The Reds' 30-year wait is finally over after Manchester City's 2-1 loss to Chelsea ensured that Jurgen Klopp's side cannot be caught this season.
They are 23 points ahead of the previous champions with just seven games to spare, making them the fastest title winners in the league's history.
It is Liverpool's first league title since the 1989/90 campaign, and their maiden Premier League trophy since the format was introduced in 1992.
Overall, the 2019/20 champions have now won 19 English top-flight titles, with only Manchester United having secured more.
The Red Devils have won 20 league titles, 13 of them during the Premier League era. United lifted their first-ever English title in 1907/08, while Liverpool were first crowned English champions in 1900/01.
Preston North End were the very first English top-flight winners back in 1888/89, but only managed to add one more title in the following campaign.
