Lionel Messi's older brother Matias has once again been arrested in Argentina, this time for reportedly threatening another person with a gun following a car accident.

The 35-year-old crashed his Land Rover in an accident involving a Volkswagen Vento, and had a heated argument with the other driver, as reported by Rosario 3, according to AS.
According to witnesses, Matias allegedly took out a firearm during the argument, but the police failed to find any gun in his car afterwards.
They did, however, find two half-smoked marijuana joints in Matias' car and detained him as a result, with reports suggesting the local prosecutor initiated legal proceedings against him.
This is not the first time Messi's brother has been arrested – in November 2017, he was put in "preventative detention" following an accident with a boat that saw him suffer severe facial injuries.

Back in 2015, Matias clashed with police after they found an unlicensed firearm in his car, and he was also involved in a similar incident in 2008 as well.
