FC Barcelona legend, Johan Cruyff, says it is absurd to think that Cristiano Ronaldo would join Real Madrid's bitter rivals.
Reports suggested the Portuguese could join the Catalan giants in future after former Barcelona president Joan Laporta recently met his agent, Jorge Mendes.

"It is an absurdity to think Cristiano Ronaldo could play for Barcelona," the Dutchman told Cadena Cope.
Cruyff also suggested that if Messi, who recently hinted he could move to another club in future, would really want to leave Barcelona then it's because of internal problems at Camp Nou.
"Of course, there will be a number of teams willing to pay €200 million for Messi, but I don't think he will leave for the money," he added.
"Messi's problem with Barcelona is something that's happened within the club. Internally things can happen that neither of us know of. I think Messi's problem is internal."

The former Barcelona player and coach is a close ally of Laporta, who is expected to challenge current Barcelona president, Josep Mario Bartomeu, at the next presidential elections.
