It was a frustrating night for the 34-year-old and his teammates as they lost 2-0 at the Stadio Olimpico after goals from Alessandro Florenzi and Edin Dzeko.
Roma's captain, Florenzi, was delighted to open the scoring in the 79th minute, a goal that came just 20 minutes after a quarrel with Ronaldo.
Dzeko had gone down with a head injury, but the match official did not stop the play, which led to tensions boiling over in Rome.
Florenzi approached Ronaldo with his hand raised to the former Real Madrid man's face, to which the Portuguese striker responded by saying: "You are too little to talk", according to Calciomercato.

While the two players were separated at the time, it is believed they made up after the game by taking one another's hands and sharing a hug.
