Ten Hag Addresses Argument Between Fernandes & Casemiro

Erik ten Hag has said he has no issue with Manchester United stars Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro arguing like they did against Aston Villa.

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has had his say on Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro's post-match argument after the Red Devils' 1-0 win over Aston Villa last weekend.

Following the 20-time English champions' Premier League victory over the Villans on Sunday, the two experienced midfielders were seen disagreeing in what seemed to be an intense conversation despite the team having picked up three points.

It was not the first time Fernandes and the former Real Madrid star have been involved in an argument in front of cameras, but Ten Hag has insisted he sees no issue with his players passionately expressing their views with one another.

"Yeah, of course. They have to communicate," he told the club's official website after being asked if he encouraged such player discussion.

"They have to organise it and make sure we get a win. So when they are talking to each other, in discussion, debating with each other, I don't have a problem with that.

"It shows the willingness and showed ambition from this team."

Casemiro joined United in a surprise deal at the start of the season following a successful period in Spain, during which he claimed an impressive 18 trophies.

Along with Ten Hag, the Brazilian's arrival has been viewed as the catalyst for positive change in the Red Devils dressing room, with the team winning the Carabao Cup in January.
