Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has explained the surprise decision to drop Marcus Rashford from the starting line-up against Crystal Palace.
Rashford had scored three goals in his last two matches heading into the encounter but was surprisingly named on the bench.
Alejandro Garnacho got the nod against the Eagles and missed a couple glorious chances in the first half.

When asked if it was a difficult decision, Ten Hag told Sky Sports, "No, it is not a difficult decision. We have to rotate, we have so many games to cover and we have to give Alejandro games.
"We have seen he has a lot of end product, he has scored so many goals and assists.
"He has only started one time this season."
After the goalless draw, Ten Hag also hit out pundit Jamie Redknapp's claim that there something happened for Rashford to be dropped.
"I heard already speculation from some pundits - that's crazy. I would almost say as a person you are not OK when you bring such speculation if you don't know what's up. This is just rotation.
"And we have many games to cover and we can only start 11 players, but we have to give all the players - if they perform - the chances and finally, of course, we will find out the players who perform better and they will play more.
"But this, it had nothing to do [with this]... I'm very happy with Marcus, with everything - defending, offensive, he scores in this moment and performs very good. So it was nothing to do with why he was on the bench, just rotation."
