According to Le Parisien, the 32-year-old has agreed to sign for Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco. The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner has not played a match since 20 August 2023 for Juventus, having been sidelined due to a doping ban.
Shortly after he was initially hit with a four-year ban, the Turin-based side decided to terminate his contract. However, the deep-lying playmaker now appears poised for a return to the professional ranks with the team from the Principality.
The same report claims that Pogba has taken a significant financial pay cut in order to make the move happen, as he looks to return to Ligue 1 and UEFA Champions League football in the new season.
Another French giant, Olympique de Marseille, were reportedly keen to lure the Manchester United academy graduate midway through the 2024/25 campaign, but their domestic rivals have now pulled the trigger on the deal.
Pogba has spent his entire professional career in either England, with the Red Devils, or in Italy, with the Old Lady, so this will mark his first time playing in his native country at senior level.
He could be joined at the club by another superstar signing in Ansu Fati.
