A top European side have reportedly reignited their interest in versatile attacking star Mason Greenwood.

At the beginning of the campaign, the English-born winger was sold by Manchester United to French giants Olympique de Marseille. Having missed the entirety of the 2022/23 season due to legal troubles, the 23-year-old returned to action last campaign on loan at Getafe, where he was named the Spanish outfit’s Player of the Season.
Now, after moving permanently from Old Trafford, the Bradford native has taken another significant step in his development. Only Ousmane Dembele has scored more goals than Greenwood’s 19 this season in the league, making him one of the most prolific attackers in Europe. However, despite his impressive form at the Stade Velodrome, it appears the Olympians have become disillusioned with the forward’s attitude.
Earlier this week, it was reported that the Ligue 1 outfit would be willing to sell their talisman should a suitable offer arrive — and it seems Barcelona are keen to take advantage of the situation.
The Blaugrana have been in the market for a winger since the start of the season, with the likes of Nico Williams continuously linked with the club. Now, according to TBR Football, Barça have reignited their interest in Greenwood.

As a result of his spell in LALIGA last season, the likes of Barcelona and Atletico Madrid — who the same report also claims to be monitoring the situation — were repeatedly linked with the Englishman, and it seems their interest has now been rekindled.
