English Premier League clubs have showcased their financial power this transfer window, as eight clubs feature in the top 10 highest spenders so far this transfer window.

The current transfer window is entering its last few weeks and shows no signs of slowing down, with clubs set to make further additions to their squads.
In the top 10 list, only the two Madrid sides - Real and Atletico - feature on the list that has been dominated by English teams.
Simeone and Alonso's sides sit sixth and seventh respectively, only spending marginally more money than the two promoted teams - Sunderland and Burnley, who sit eighth and tenth on the list.
Man Utd rebuilt their frontline with the additions of Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo to ut them in the top 3, while Liverpool broke the bank to break the Premier League transfer record signing Florian Wirtz for a fee up to £116.5 million, also adding Hugo Ekitike for nearly £80 million, to take their spending close to £300 million.
