According to reports, Qatar officials have put pressure on the sport's governing body amid their move to not allow the selling of alcohol at stadiums.
One of FIFA's biggest sponsors, Budweiser, have a deal to sell their and advertise their product at the eight grounds that will host the competition.
Should Qatar succeed in their last-minute attempt to ban beer sales, FIFA would reportedly be in breach of their multimillion-dollar contract with the American-founded company considering their initial agreement.

It is thought that the Gulf State would continue selling alcohol in Doha fan parks, though discussions are likely to go on as the start of the world's largest sporting event approaches.
Earlier this week, FIFA were said to agree to move beer stations into less visible areas after Qatari officials believed that Budweiser's stands were too noticeable.
