Hakim ZIyech

Walid Regragui has named his final 26-man Morocco squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup finals, with the likes of Bayern Munich's Noussair Mazraoui and Chelsea's Hakim Ziyech set to star for the Atlas Lions.

Eto'o Makes Bizarre All-African WC Final Prediction

Having just succeeded Vahid Halilhodzic as the head coach of the north African giants, Regragui includes star players who were banished by the Bosnian such as Mazraoui and Ziyech.

The 47-year-old comes into the job on a high having just completed a double with Wydad Casablanca in the 2021/22 season, as he led the Moroccan outfit to a Botola Pro and CAF Champions League double.

This will be Morocco's fifth appearance at a World Cup, and the second-highest ranked African side in the competition will be out to outdo their tournament best in 1986. Ziyech is one of the players returning having competed in Russia four years ago. He is alongside Achraf Hakimi, Yassine Bounou and Youssef En-Nesyri.
